Metal's

This is my completed metal. This was after it was made on paper, choosen each metal peice, cut, and fired.This was a good experience for kids at this age to get your mind going.

Clay

For our breakfast we had to base a cup, bowl, and a plate on anyone we wanted. I decided to do Minnie  Mouse. So far I only got my bowl made and also I made a bow that will be attached to my plate. This is my bowl for now until I finish.

My Work Area

This is where most of the metal process takes place! All you really need is a saw frame, the blade, clamp, the pallet and of corse the metal. In the beginning I found this a little difficult but now I find it easy and as do most other students. When you first begin cutting you may find that it is a little hard to get through but then your good. All you have to do is get the job done!

Metal Designs

This is a picture of the two designs I came down to choosing. The first design(on the left) was designed to remind you kind of as a flower. The second design(on the right) was the one I ended up choosing, but I also added a little bit more to it. The right design wasn't really meant to be anything I just came up with it through out the process.

My College Progression

The top picture is my college about mid way through. As you can see it started more as a picture. Through out each day I would get more and more done. In the beginning you cant really think of what you would want to put on this. Then as you start it gets easier and easier. This project requires a lot of steps/techniques. Witch come through out the project. The bottom picture was the end result.

Andy Warhol
I like this artist because if you look at his drawings/paintings are very colorful and interesting . He paints a lot of random things and people. Andy Warhol was born August 6,1928. He died february 22,1987. So he died at the age of 58.Most of his art was painting, printmaking, and also cinema.

I like this picture because it is very color full and also because it is Marilyn Monroe and I used to really like her when I was younger so it relates to me. I rally like all of his paintings because they are mostly all on the happy side because of the color.

I have seen many people who have improved through out this marking period. Also as a class everyone has great drawings and paintings. I hope our class is successful through out the year.

I can't believe its already the end of the first marking period. Throughout this marking period I believe I have improved and hopefully through out this whole year I will improve even more and even do art next year. So far I don't regret taking art and maybe I will continue art in the future.

This is my first time on blogger and I have never actually wrote a blog. I never knew there was such thing as a blogger until I went into HTHS creative arts class.
